At an early age, Melchor Vidal Novoa began repairing the sewing machines in the workshop where he worked, which was dedicated to textile production. Little by little he won experience in the entire variety of machinery until he decided to start selling them himself and providing technical service for his own machines.

After years of self-employment, Melchor Vidal Novoa founded M.V.Novoa,SL in 1996 in Redondela, Spain.

After the founding of the company, it began to cover more sectors than just clothing manufacturing. The automotive sector was one of the most important sectors since it was a new specialization with the manufacture of seats, airbags, etc.. and providing solutions to special projects, gotten the trust of the large multinationals in the automotive world from Spain, Portugal, Tunisia, Romania or Brazil.
